Yes. A bear did. A gentle, quiet bear, as I slept right through his walk and dump through my little forest.

Solid fencing has now moved to the top of my list of must haves.

I’m just getting back into the swing of making stuff since moving out here. You can hear the beginnings of a song being put together with my new one, “Cottage Whore.”

I’m also now hell bent on starting an al fresco figure drawing  workshop for the locals. I reached out to the local arts organization of visual artists to let them know my, honestly pretty impressive resume for a figure model. But, President of Artistic Locals quite rudely informed me his organization does NOT need a model–they paint the ocean, and only the ocean, dammit!

I have a feeling that not every artist in town wants to only paint the ocean. I bet, if some of them had the opportunity to work with a model, they might do just that. I have a feeling, Mr. President of Artistic Locals simply thinks the human form is too hot to handle.

So, I’ll just have to start my own arts organization. This…also requires fencing.

It’s always the right time to get me a housewarming present–you haven’t missed your chance! And if you want to donate something that will help me AND the arts in this super beautiful, but a little tightly wound place, make it fencing.

Because this bear thing is just, like, an easily fixed terror. A good fence would largely solve it. And will enable al fresco figure modeling…for people who honestly need it. Like, this is a town full of artists, painting the same beautiful picture over and over again. Perhaps someone wants to draw a woman riding a whale into the sunset, for a change. I can help them get there.
