QUEEN OF SWORDS: Perfume Crafted by Hand

Queen of Swords takes ideas like “Hand-Crafted” and “Customer Service” seriously–and always, the evocative, subtle art of scent.

We started as fans. We loved how luxury brands of perfume could infuse even the drab and ordinary with beauty and magic. We found deals anywhere we could to get our hands on Guerlaine, Chanel, Dior–the powerhouses of perfume, so we could study at their feet while infusing nuance and art into the every day.

For years, we studied and read and mixed purely for the enjoyment of delving into the subtle but evocative art and science of perfume.

But the more we learned, the more we grew frustrated by changes to the industry that degraded the quality of most mass produced scents.

At Queen of Swords, every bottle is personally mixed by our noses, and we don’t take on more than we can make with hand-crafted care.

We can’t wait to share our scents with you! Have a look around. Above you’ll find an overview of what we offer. Below, you’ll find our current line up of scents. To order, send a message telling us what you’d like, and we’ll give you a timeline and invoice to get started!

Nyx: Inspired by Nyx, the Goddess representation of Night and Darkness. This perfume conjures a warm summer night scented with ripe fruit and cool florals. The night and darkness are born of chaos, but that is where love and hope are born. This romantic, hopeful, yet dark perfume conjures the feeling of possibility.

Poseidon: Strong, masculine and oceanic, this perfume projects both authority and grace.

The Mistress: Inspired by Persephone, called “The Mistress” this perfume uses Rose, vinyl and smoke to conjure the feeling of ascent and rise. This perfume is complex and well balanced, conjuring eras gone by with a hint of rebellion.

The Unseen One: The counterpart to The Mistress, The Unseen One refers to Hades, who rules the Underworld. Oil, Leather and Metal dominate this underground scent.

Second Course: This one could also have been called “Hecate’s dessert.” Velvety and delicious smelling, this perfume borders on gourmand.
