Call for artists

SmutMag.Art is seeking solo-artists in all mediums to collaborate on digital shows, development and the creation of public access showcases, variety shows and cabarets. Our process allows us to focus on one artist at a time, and devote months to promoting a single show, to see it all the way through development until a wide reaching public access show or your work is produced.

We release work at holiday time, giving the whole community a reason to come together with the arts. This also ensures that long after the show has been released, it can continue creating profits year after year.

We work with a hardworking skeleton crew, and split the profits as follows:

25% to the Artist; 25% to a Land Fund for Artists; 25% to the Sales Manager; 25% to SmutMag.Art.

Seeking regional sales directors

SmutMag.Art is currently seeking Sales Directors, with special attention paid to those with art dealing and fundraising backgrounds.

SmutMag operates on a store credit system called “Bones.” Our goal is turn traditional arts donors into arts ‘Investors,’ allowing us to get funding up front to produce with, and allowing patrons to build up an arts savings account to purchase items like merchandise, show tickets, commission works, etc.

This isn’t cryptocurrency–there is no block chain. But this system does allow us to be flexible in the current shifting economy.

We work with a hardworking skeleton crew, and split the profits as follows:

25% to the Artist; 25% to a Land Fund for Artists; 25% to the Sales Manager; 25% to SmutMag.Art.

We prefer Sales Managers with a sure market to tap into. Our model is entirely scalable, so we may have as many regional sales managers as there are regions–including digital spaces and physical spaces alike. Our priority is only working with those who are passionate about selling, can confidently sell the arts, and are excited by building something new.
